Enfield Montessori School – Honoring the Environment
Enfield Montessori School students recently had the opportunity to take their learning out onto the beautiful campus. With their teacher, Sr. Karol Marie Hegarty, FSE, they conducted evaporation experiments. This adventure in nature reminds the students of the Felician Core Values for Ministry, especially justice and peace in relationship for caring for creation.

Felician University JEDI Awards
Felician University’s JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Council recently provided the first ever Beacon of Social Justice Awards. According to Felician’s Facebook page, “this was an opportunity to recognize students’ outstanding efforts and contributions to social justice and inclusion on campus. The Beacon of Social Justice award is in the shape of a drop of water as it is meant to encompass the phrase by Mother Teresa, “It’s only a drop in the ocean, but the ocean wouldn’t be the same without that drop.”

Marywood Nursing Care Center: Sometimes It’s the Small Things
Mission Leader Christina Hall works hard to keep faith central for the staff, residents, and guests of Marywood. During Lent, Sisters would have lunch with community staff reflecting on the importance of prayer and fasting. Additionally, Marywood continues to pray the Rosary daily and celebrate mass weekly on Sundays. Marywood also celebrated the May Crowning and Pentecost Sunday. Confessions are heard on demand and Anointing of the Sick occurs monthly.
