SJA and Villa St. Francis – Christmas Is for All Ages!

As the holiday season approached, a special connection blossomed between the 5th graders of St. Joseph Academy and the residents of Villa St. Francis in Milwaukee. The students visited the assisted living community, engaging them with the vibrant energy of youth. The residents of Villa St. Francis, with their rich experiences and stories, welcomed the children with open arms. This intergenerational exchange showed a beautiful blend of laughter, learning, and shared experiences. St. Joseph Academy cherishes this unique bond, recognizing the invaluable lessons and joy that such interactions bring to both the young and the young at heart.

The choir brought joy and shared gifts from God – their vocal harmonies – with everyone in attendance. For the students of HNMCS, it was a moment of pride and exhilaration, watching their peers on such an exciting stage.

Angela Hospice – Getting behind the Lions!

At Angela Hospice, excitement abounds not just for the Detroit Lions’ impressive season as fans don their Lions jersey, but also for the off-field heroics of Pro Bowl player Frank Ragnow. His foundation, Frank Ragnow’s Rags Remembered Foundation, has become a beacon of hope, closely aligned with Angela Hospice’s mission. Over the past two seasons, this partnership has blossomed, highlighting Ragnow’s impact beyond football. It’s a relationship that embodies the power of sports in enriching communities. In the spirit of fraternitas – or “being relational” – Ragnow’s foundation and care for his community serves the needs of people who are most vulnerable.
