Enfield Montessori & Chiaravalle Academy Bring in the Harvest
Enfield Montessori and Chiaravalle Academy has embraced sustainability by growing its own greens and harvesting chicken eggs for sale, inspired by the principles of Laudato Si’. The initiative, aimed at promoting environmental stewardship and self-sufficiency, involves students in every step, from planting to harvesting. The produce and eggs are sold to the community. This hands-on approach not only provides fresh, natural food but also educates students on the importance of caring for our common home.
