Felician Sisters Child Care Centers and Senior Clergy Village President team up to learn about Memorial Day

Brigadier General Carol Ann Fausone (ret.) visited the children of St. Mary Child Care Center and Montessori Center of Our Lady in Livonia, MI, during Young Children’s Worship to share the significance of Memorial Day and ways to honor veterans. General Carol Ann guided the children in a prayerful procession with the Christ Candle, fostering a moment of reflection and gratitude.
During her visit, she gifted students with an American Flag coloring and facts sheet and presented Military Challenge Coins—designed by her—to the Elementary children of Montessori Center of Our Lady, recognizing their spirit and engagement. She then received 144 handmade letters, carefully decorated by the children of The Felician Sisters Child Care Centers Inc., which she will deliver to veterans at Veteran Administration Hospitals in Metro Detroit during Memorial Day. The children also created 48 additional letters expressing deep appreciation for her service.
It was an unforgettable experience that reinforced the values of faith, gratitude, and service. Brigadier General Carol Ann Fausone (ret.), an Air Force veteran and retired nurse, continues her advocacy for both veterans and nurses as President of Senior Clergy Village, a Felician Sponsored Ministry in Livonia, MI.

St. Anne’s Family Services Celebrates Another Success

Congratulations to Cheyenne Rogers, a shining example of resilience and determination, on passing the California Bar Exam. A former resident of St. Anne’s Family Services program and a 2023 Evening of Angels Triumph Award Honoree, Cheyenne earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law and now works as a Legal Assistant at Travelers Insurance.
Her inspiring journey – from being a single teen mother in foster care to achieving her dream of becoming a lawyer – has been fueled by love for her daughter, who remains her greatest motivation. Cheyenne’s transformational story is like that of many whom St. Anne’s serves.
