At St. Joseph Academy (Milwaukee, WI) 8th graders are embracing their final days with joy, laughter, and memorable experiences, including special outings like their visit to Holy Hill.
At Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA), seniors gathered for a heartfelt tradition of sharing letters and messages, reflecting on the relationships and moments that shaped their time together.
At Madonna University (Livonia, MI), Villa Maria College (Buffalo, NY), and Felician University (Lodi and East Rutherford, NJ), graduates are stepping into their next chapters with confidence, gratitude, and excitement for the future.

Senior Living and Health Care Ministries
Celebrating Nurses and CNAs During National Nurses Week
Most of the Senior Living and Health Care ministries recently celebrated Nurses Week. These celebrations honor those who carry on the deep legacy of the Felician Sisters in caring for all they encounter.
At Marywood Nursing Care Center (Livonia, MI) a resident wrote a gratitude note to the care team for taking good care of her “like family” while recovering from a knee replacement.
St. Anne Home (Greensburg, PA) celebrated Nursing Home Week with a BBQ lunch and s’mores! It was a way to show appreciation to the incredible staff for everything they do for their residents and one another.
At Felician Village (Manitowoc, WI), their very own Isabel, CNA, won the Mission Excellence Recognition Award. Isabel’s quiet, attentive presence comforting a resident in a vulnerable moment and greeting others with a warm smile beautifully embodies the Felician spirit by demonstrating compassion and joy.
These beautiful stories clearly reflect the heart of Blessed Mary Angela’s teachings to serve all people with compassion and joyful service.
Villa St. Francis Recognizes Earth Day
Residents at Villa St. Francis (Milwaukee, WI) came together on Earth Day, April 22, to help plant seeds for vegetables that will be transplanted to the Villa’s community garden beds. Residents are then able to grow vegetables to use or share. Additionally, one bed is sponsored by Mission Integration and all produce generated from that bed is donated to a local food pantry or the Catholic Worker. Participants also participated in a prayer for the care of creation and a “Laudato Si” reflection.

Mooncrest Community Plants Roots for a Sustainable Future
Hopebound Ministries: Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs (Moon Township, PA) recently planted two dozen trees and shrubs in the Mooncrest Food Forest with support from the Moon Rotary Club, Moon High School Hockey, Moon High School, and the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School Interact Club, a Felician Sponsored Ministry.
This collaborative effort reflects the Felician Sisters’ Stance of Care for Creation as the Mooncrest community works together to nurture the earth and create sustainable spaces for a healthier future.
St. Anne’s Family Services’ Evening of Angels Gala
St. Anne’s Family Services (Los Angeles, CA) celebrated its Annual Evening of Angels Gala at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood, bringing together hundreds of supporters, partners, board members, sponsors, donors, and friends for a memorable evening of purpose and community. Sister Jeremy Marie Midura, Felician Services Executive Vice President of Charism and Mission Integration, and Bridget Armstrong, Senior Vice President of Strategic Governance & Leadership, attended.
Throughout the evening, President & CEO Lorna Little’s powerful reminder, “no money, no mission,” resonated deeply, highlighting the essential role of ongoing support. The event featured a lively auction, with proceeds helping to sustain critical services and ensure continued hope, healing, and opportunity for children and families experiencing need.
Ensuring Families Have Access to Quality Food
At St. Felix Pantry in Rio Rancho, NM, President and CEO Tim Sheahan, alongside New Mexico State Senator Jay C. Block, celebrated a remarkable gift of 1,000 Meals Ready to Eat from Mass Haulers, LLC, a local auto transport company. This generous donation will go a long way in ensuring families have reliable access to nourishing meals.
Further east, Deo Gratias Ministries Detroit (Detroit, MI) was blessed with an anonymous cash donation accompanied by a note of encouragement and gratitude.
Together, these acts of generosity highlight the powerful impact of community support, enabling both ministries to continue feeding families and offering Felician hope to those who need it most.
