St. Joseph Academy Celebrates Attendance Goal
St. Joseph Academy (Milwaukee, WI) recognized the classrooms that achieved perfect attendance,. With Assistant Principal Kayla Russick at the helm, they treated the students to delicious paletas (popsicles) from a local business. These sweet treats were a huge hit. The smiles and cheers said it all as the paleta cart rolled through the hallways.

Montessori Center of Our Lady (Livonia, MI) took the lead – sharing their lessons, guiding activities, and stepping into the role of teacher – during “Bring Your Parents to School.” The teachers and staff were grateful for the parents’ support and participation as the students continue to grow in confidence, independence, and skill.
Snowstorm Brings Fun to Enfield Montessori School & Chiaravalle Academy
Winter this season has really brought tremendous amounts of snowfall to many of the Felician Sponsored Ministries. After a big snowfall there, Enfield Montessori School (Enfield, CT) students embraced the winter weather as they bundled up and headed outside to enjoy their snow‑covered playground. Smiles, movement, and plenty of snowy fun made for the perfect winter adventure.
OLSH Students Bring Financial Literacy to Feeder School
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School (Coraopolis, PA) Junior Achievement (JA) students also visited Rhema Christian School, where they taught financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership. OLSH has long had a JA program and they were excited to bring JA learning to life for younger students in their community.

Felician Village Prays for Peace in Our Country
Felician Village (Manitowoc, WI) gathered in the chapel for a Holy Hour of Prayer for Peace, held at the request of Archbishop Paul S. Coakley, President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Reflecting on the importance of this time of prayer, Archbishop Coakley reminded the faithful, “Your faithfulness matters. Your prayers matter. Your acts of love and works of justice matter.” Prayer cards were provided to guide residents through the hour of reflection and meditation. Renee Thompson, Director of Advancement, subtly carried the message of the day through her shirt.

Felician Center Inc. Honors the Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
Members of the Mission Integration Committee from Felician Center Inc. (Kingstree, SC) gathered at the Williamsburg Residential Care Center to honor the MLK holiday. SM Susanne Dziedzic, Felician Center Director, led residents in an interactive reflection on the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., encouraging them to face daily challenges with compassion and to let their words and actions be guided by peace. They ended their time together with an interactive prayer responding with St. Francis of Assisi’s legendary words to, “make me an instrument of peace.” They also shared a heartfelt singing of We Shall Overcome.
Hopebound Ministries: Felician Community Services Supports 33 Families Bring Cheer to 91 Children This Holiday
Felician Community Services (Buffalo, NY) celebrated the holiday season by supporting guests with young children through their 2nd Annual Holiday Program. With help from six groups and 38 families or individuals, they provided gifts for 91 children from 33 families. Santa and Mrs. Claus also visited, bringing cookies, handmade cards, and festive craft ornaments.

Deo Gratias Ministries Detroit (Detroit, MI) brought the community together as guests enjoyed a warm, comforting meal of smoked brisket and mac and cheese prepared by Robert A. Nahra who is better known locally as Chef Bobby of Hook SCS and a familiar face on FOX 2 Detroit. S Rita Marie Vondra, Manager of the Deo Gratias Ministries Cafe, and volunteer Hans worked side by side to plate each serving with care, creating a welcoming and joyful atmosphere. Deo Gratias Ministries Detroit is deeply grateful for Chef Bobby’s generosity, and their guests truly felt the love in every bite.
St. Felix Pantry Received a Visit from Local Leadership
St. Felix Pantry (Rio Rancho, NM) received a visit from Kathleen Cates, NM State Representative, District 44, who wanted to see their work firsthand and meet with President and CEO Tim Sheahan. This visit provided a valuable opportunity for Rep. Cates to understand the compassionate service that St. Felix Pantry provides to the Rio Rancho community. When community leaders take the time to engage with local social service organizations, it strengthens the entire community.
McGuire Memorial Opens Sensory Room Thanks to a Gift
McGuire Memorial (New Brighton, PA) extended its deepest gratitude to the McCarl family. For over four decades and three generations, the McCarls have shared their time, talents, and hearts to help various organizations in their community. McGuire is honored to name their new sensory room in tribute to the McCarl legacy. May it inspire joy, learning, and independence for years to come!
